Fall Evaluations/Conferences are currently going on. If you have not scheduled one already, please see the schedule below. If you are not able to make it into school at this time, we strongly encourage you to sign-up for a Call-In conference. (No Infant Room Conferences.)
Froggy, Butterfly, Flower, Bumble Bee, Ladybug Classrooms:
1:15 - 2:45pm (15-Minute slots) from October 28th - November 8th
Grasshopper Classroom:
1:15 - 2:45pm (30-Minute slots) from October 28th - November 8th
Teddy Bear Pictures - Teddy Bear Portraits are scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th (Infant, Dragonfly, Froggy, and Flower rooms and Siblings) & Thursday, November 21st (Bumble Bee, Ladybug, Grasshopper.) Family portraits may be scheduled with advance notice. Viewings of the completed portraits will be the same day from 4-6pm in the Little Kids house.
YCP Shared Photo Site can be found on Shutterfly. We post photos of larger Holiday events here. If you would like access to the Shared Site please follow these steps:
Set up a regular Shutterfly account.
Email info@yourchildsplaceva.com and request an invite to the shared site.
An invite will be emailed to your inbox.
Go to YCP Photo Album and click on the Shared YCP Site to begin looking at photos.
Warm and Extra Clothes - Please begin to switch out your child's extra clothes to Cold Weather items - pants, long-sleeve shirts, socks, etc. Please make sure your child has a warm jacket to wear at the playground - our playground is shaded and can be a bit cooler during Morning Recess and once it becomes darker in the late afternoon hours.
November Monthly Activity Calendars and Lunch Menu are now posted online.
Show & Tell is listed in the Calendar portion of the website - click on the individual day to see what items your child needs to bring in.
We will be OPEN Monday, November 11th for Veteran's Day.
